Being dev makes me fixing bugs that I have introduced while writing the code. Because current project is web app it is obviously tested in multiple browsers (CSS and JavaScript). It is also tested in the worst browser (according to my humble opinion) ever created in history of a human kind by Microsoft itself, Internet Explorer 6.
Working on updated version of Windows XP means that your IE version is updated to at least version 7. A huge chunk of the world is still using IE 6. Question then: How do you get IE 6 after upgrading to IE 7. Or even better, how do you get both of them? I couldn’t believe answer is that simple

Nice little installer that installs all the versions of IE on your or your fiends Windows. All the versions down to IE 3.
Have fun with your development and testing.

We currently live in a decade where everything is I. iPhone iPlayer, iSomething. My teen years were 90tees. I could probably say a lot of good and bad things has happen that time but I just won’t to mention the one thing that smith my character The birth and existence of Grunge music.
Why I’m writing about that. During the weekend I was looking at some old mp3 CD that I have in my CD collection. Looking at the band and album titles old memories of the good old times came back to me.
Bands like Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Alice in Chains, Stone Temple Pilots, Smashing Pumpkins, Soundgarden, Silverchair, Bush, Hey (I do strong believe and still am that they were the one and only Polish grunge band at that time). These bands are the example of my favourites. I could listen to their music for hours.
I do believe nothing as good as Grunge has happened after. Even G Bands went some odd direction with their music. All the crap that you hear in TV or a Radio these days sounds the same or like a remake of old songs.
I will shove all the G juice (nothing Google like) into my mp3 player and listen to it, reminding myself good old times, times of rebel, and most important of good music.
Pearl Jam “Leash” will forever stay my personal anthem.
What’s your anthem? What is the song moves you to your very bone?
Grzegorz da Greg
Ps. There is a Grunge radio station http://www.grungefm.com if you are interested in it.

30th of May 2007 was a Dave Matthews Band concert in London. Me and my Wife were there and we were singing along with Dave
The concert was amazing. Someone, somewhere once said that DMB is a greatest band that performs life. He was right. They have ROCKed Wembley Arena for two hours straight. I have a number of pictures and videos (not best quality though).

Title might sound similar to some of you. It’s a title of song originally written and performed by Genesis. I would like to present you the one coverd by Disturbed. I like the video to this song. Great combination of music, lyrics and animation.

I have listen to this band for some time now and I have to admit it. I really like it. I was trying to analyze, what is so “ear catching” about this band. Well, I have to say that pretty much everything. Good vocal and instruments handling. Three guys feel in silence space with a lot of music. Style of a band is like Alternative rock with a bit of Electronic and Heavy metal sometimes.

I have just came across great band. Snow patrol and their album “Eyes Open”. They play some really good music.

Band is mixed with Scottish, Irish and English people. They haven’t started to play long time ago. Before they started to be famous they have supported U2 on their world tour.
I love the way their combine their music, and how they play guitars on faster tracks. Lyrics are also strong, but this is not first thing that strikes you when you listen to them.
Some songs might sound similar to each other, but everyone is different and got different ending. It’s definitely worth to listen for easy, chill out home music session. Relaxing and enjoyable experience mixed with optimistic energy.
Two songs that really nailed me down, very famous and melodically: “You’re all I have” and “Chasing cars”. I just love them.
I do recommend to point your browser dear reader to their official web http://www.snowpatrol.com site and listen to some samples. Who knows, you might like it.
Cheers, Greg

Sometimes oldies are not so old. I just got my hands on Red Hot Chilli Peppers album “Blood Sugar Sex Magic”.
I am not a big RHCP fan and I remember to not like some of their earlier stuff. I need to admit though, that this is truly great album.
Songs are various, from very funky music to very classic like “Under the Bridge” or “Breaking the Girl”. I do have to mention one of my favourite ever that is “Give it away”. If you have a cd, old tape or a mp3 folder with Red Hot Chilli Peppers, “Blood Sugar Sex Magic” give it a go. If you haven’t heard it before is definitely worth trying.
I’m sure this music won’t put you in a bad mood.
Stay (not i) tuned

Behind mysterious abbreviation that is DMB stands band name. Dave Matthews Band. It is one of my favourite band. I think it stands next to Pearl Jam in my personal hall of glory.
It’s hard to describe and categorise DMB music. It is incredibly melodically, has rock elements and a lot of jazz. All the musicians are professionals; some of them were playing before in Jazz bands. Final effect is incredible. Mixture of South African rhythms, jazz improvisation, pop and rock melody. Sometimes music tends to be hard but you can’t rocky but at the other hand you can’t hear typical heavy guitars, bass and drums.
